4 Month Well Check

Happy Friday! Emma had her 4 Month Well Check this morning at 9:30am - I was able to take the day off from work to take her to her appointment and spend the day with her. Emma is growing perfectly! She is 15 lbs, 4 oz. and is very healthy. We spent a lot of time talking about introducing foods so this weekend we'll be starting rice cereal and shortly thereafter fruits. She did get her next round of immunizations so that did not make her too happy, but she ended up taking a 2 1/2 hour nap when we came home so I was able to get some lunch and catch up on some laundry. This weekend we'll be getting ready for my parents to come down to visit - they arrive on Tuesday. They are coming down to watch Emma for us while we go up to Wisconsin for Courtney and Austin's wedding next week. So they'll be arriving Tuesday, we leave for WI Thursday morning, get back Saturday evening, and then the fam will leave Sunday afternoon. A quick trip, but it will be nice for them to spend some quality time with Emma and in the short time that we will see them while they're here we will get to spend some time with my brother - he is scheduled to leave for boot camp on June 24th!
